So, I spend quite a lot of my spare time taking photos. Mostly candid street photography.
I decided this year to improve my skills by entering photography competitions. It’s a slightly painful process because I inevitably start from a position of embarassment (what if, oh if only…) and then wonder at some of the other submissions!
Then I remind myself that learning, not winning, is a worthwhile outcome.
So I am learning about myself and learning to look more objectively at my own work. I’ve decided to post some of my submissions here too, as a record of my efforts – hopefully you (and I) will see improvements over time 😉
